"Poet" lends itself well to variations!  Bottom left is "Purple Passion Poet" featuring boots, skirt, and beret in panne velvet, and bottom right is "Pink Pleather Poet".  I never seem to make this outfit the same way twice.

Shown to the right and behind the fainting couch is my reproduction of "Dancing Doll" vintage Barbie fashion.  Pink gingham dress features a white cowl collar with machine embroidered floral motif, pink satin ribbon belt with real buckle.  I can do and have done the matching Skipper outfit, "Me & My Doll" as well.  Contact me for pricing of matching outfits.

This is a little cocktail dress with princess seamed bodice and hip-hugging skirt, done in a black/red small checked suiting fabric.  A simple Dolman sleeved jacket accompanies the dress, and it is topped off with a fringy-brimmed hat.  The fringe shown here was actually the selvage of the fabric, so availability of this style is limited to what I have left of the selvage edges of this fabric.

This sheath is the classic "On The Go" or "Sheath Sensation" reproduction, but done in a wild animal print cotton.  Four goldtone ball buttons adorn the bodice front.  The classic look is finished with a broad brimmed hat of same fabric.

Classic sheath pattern presented in a floral cotton print and paired with a straw hat that is embellished with matching hatband and a floral spray.  Dress has patch pockets with flaps at each hip, and four gold ball buttons on the bodice.

Reproduction sundress in a horizontal stripe cotton.  Straw hat accompanies the dress with a matching hatband and coordinating floral spray. 

This is the same "Suburban Shopper" sundress pattern but rendered in a Southwestern print cotton.  Coordinated with a strand of beads and a floral adorned hat, this outfit screams "South Of The Border"!  I have several variations of this Southwestern striped fabric on hand, and the cut of the pattern pieces makes each dress look unique.  All three dresses shown here were made from the same fabric.

This was a special request from a customer who wanted a black sheath with an outrageous big black hat.  Fabric of the sheath and hat is a jacquard black-on-black with a floral motif.  Sheath is trimmed with a sewn-on tulle shoulder wrap, that sinks to a "V" in the  back.  Hat is embellished with satin ribbon and a tulle layer.

The same customer for the "Big Black Hat" above wanted something similar in red.  Here is another jacquard cotton sheath with tulle trim and satin roses adorning the shoulders of the dress and the broad-brim hat.

Reproduction dress is done in floral cotton with red bias tape trim at waist, neck, and sleeves.  I have not attempted to reproduce the felt hat that goes with the vintage outfit but can give it a go or provide one of my other hat styles.

This dress was a special order for a spring dress in "daffodil yellow".  It is the classic Suburban Shopper sundress style, but cut with the stripes vertical instead of horizontal.  Self fabric hat features layers of gathered lace on the underside of the brim.

Classic sheath style sewn in solid color cotton, with matching hat.  Hat has slightly padded brim with circular seaming, and gold ball button band matching the buttons on the dress bodice.  Dress has patch pockets with flaps.

Reproduction Belle dress sewn in wine colored silk shantung.  Bodice is lined in tulle.  Dress features overlapping front pleats and fabric bow at waist.  This particular dress was sized for the silkstone body.

This white silk shantung A-shaped gown was created to show off a spray of machine embroidery.  Metallic gold wrap coordinates with whatever color is in the embroidery.  Dress is fully lined and wraps and fastens with hidden snaps in the front.

This dress has a zipper in the back, but sometimes I make it with snaps instead. 

Lace and tricot teddy undergarment, made from a discarded slip.

Reproduction empire-waisted sheath in yellow-green gingham, with multi-color dotted bodice, has a matching broad brimmed hat that has a heart shape in back, tulle stiffening layer on top of dotted fabric brim, and bias trimmed edges.

This version of "Lunch On The Terrace" was created with a pleat in front to make a maternity dress as a special project for a friend.

Vintage drop-waist a-line dress is rendered true to the original in silk taffeta gingham check on the skirt and matching hat.  Bodice is black cotton with white topstitching.  Rhinestone button accentuates the hipline.  Note:  Black gloves, shoes and stockings are not included in this outfit. 

This is the same cocktail dress pattern as "On The Fringe" but sewn this time in a green heart print cotton.  Dress is trimmed in green satin bows on the bodice at each shoulder strap.  Broad brimmed hat has solid green layer framing the doll's face, printed layer on top.  This comes with a matching solid green jacket.

Here is a versatile reproducion dress that can be done in a variety of fabrics.  This one has a red linen-textured cotton bodice with a white-on-navy dotted skirt as in "Gay Parisienne".  Nylon blend big bow at the dropped waistline completes this sassy look.  Bodice is completely lined in tulle for a smooth armhole and neck finish.

A-shaped sleeveless dress with ruffled bottom can be made in a variety of cotton prints.
